E&M200 sf

The EXACOM model E&M-200SF (E&M Tie trunk interface) uses "state of the art" telecommunication and semiconductor technology to permit the interface of DID/DOD E&M Tie trunks with most Voice/Fax call processing systems.
The E&M-200SF translates from one to four E&M trunks per unit to several special configurations of loop trunk interfaces which are compatible with most types of single or multi-port Voice/Fax type systems, PBX and Key Telephone systems. The E&M-200SF may be configures on a per line basis to interface with either 2 wire or 4 wire E&M trunks, immediate cut-thru or wink start trunks, using rotary pulse or DTMF pulse signaling.

The E&M-200SF unit contains the -48 vdc power supply, 20hz ring generator, ringback tone generator and it serves as the unit telephone line distribution panel.

The E&M-200SF can be interfaces with any Voice/Fax call processing system capable of detecting DTMF signaling, ringing, loop current and providing on/off hook control. The E&M-200SF provides the necessary interface to automate the directing and processing of E&M calls for applications such as Voice mail, Fax mail, TAS systems, auto-routing and paging dispatch.
