DID-200 Chassis
 The
EXACOM model DID-200 series "Chassis (DID Analog trunk
interface module) uses "state of the art" telecommunication
and semiconductor technology to permit the interface of Direct
Inward Dial (DID) analog trunks with most voice and FAX call
processing systems. The DID-200 Series is designed to work
in areas where the serving telephone company offers DID lines.
The DID-200 translates DID analog trunks (up to 4) to several
special configurations of loop trunk interfaces which are
compatible with most types of single or multi-port voice call
processing systems, PBX and Key telephone systems, and FAX
call processing systems. The DID-200 may be configured on
a per line basis to interface with either immediate cut-thru
or wink start DID trunks, using rotary pulse or DTMF signaling.
The DID-200 chassis series supports up to 4 analog DID trunks.
The Chassis version of the DID-200 Series is a self-contained
microprocessor based telecommunications interface device which
includes a -48vdc DID-200 trunk power supply, 20hz ring generator,
ringback tone generator and a telephone line interface. It
is powered by a wall plug-in type power supply.
The DID-200 can be interfaced with any call processing system
capable of detecting ringing, loop current and providing on/off
hook control. The DID-200 provides the necessary interface
to automate the directing and processing of DID calls for
applications such as Voice mail, Fax mail, TAS systems, Inbound
fax routing, and paging dispatch.

- Supports outbound faxing via the Transfer/Outdial Port
- Converts rotary pulse DID to DTMF
